Blitzstreak growled low as his jade eyes scanned the surrounding city walls. Blood stained his muzzle and paws, blood he had not bothered to clean off from his last meal of human flesh. He scanned the oncoming flow of people from the shadows of a dumpster, savoring the moment he would strike fear into their hearts. His pelt rippled as he leaped out of the shadows, growling and snapping at the passing humans. Screams echoed through out the streets as 'Rabid Dog!!!' rang out from the filthy mouths of the people. But one dark shape stood out from the others, sitting against the wall of a condo apartment building smoking a cigarette. Now he wouldn't have been so out of the ordinary if his hands, face, and cigarette wasn't on fire. As soon as the streets cleared and the last squeal of tires dissipated down the street the figure Finlay stood tall and showed his true form. A tamer at heart the man lashed his whip out, flaming tendrils curling and swirling off of its sleek glaze. With a slash of the whip a razor sharp wave of fire headed Blitzstreak's way. He yelped and dodged the flaming blaze but the whip lashed across his shoulder leaving a deep bloody trail. He looked at his wound as his pelt bristled and flames erupted from his paws.

The time had come. The trainer, just starting his quest, had set out to capture his first demon. He had watched this process many times, had practiced his skills since he was young and now had decided that the time had come. His red hair hung into his eyes for it was long, much to the upset of his parents and he gazed through those emerald jewels onto the city, log since abandoned by humans and now ruled over by those he wanted to train- demon wolves. Before coming he had carefully selected his weapon from the numerous he had in the bag he carried with him at all times, other than when he entered the demon city and then he hid the bag in one of the bushes for he had taken to the streets as he could not afford to take up a decent residence. He walked through solemnly, alone as he had always liked it, when he caught sight of his victim. He cracked the whip against the cobblestones and let a dry smile pass his face. "Lets see what you've got."

Blitz shook his head as the trainer before him vanished in a blaze of fire as a new trainer came along, a crack of a whip taunting Blitz to an angry jolt. He turned his head and let out a low growl, angry at the trainer for suddenly appearing, in a way cornering him at a time he was vulnerable. His paws lit aflame, a dangerous combination not like wolves, his eyes seeming to blaze as it went to rest upon the trainer's cracking whip. "Of course, unless you are affraid of what I've got." Blitz said, refraining from his full power. He was taught to reserve his best for later, it was to keep him safe and to leave a little surprise for the enemy.

He cracked the whip a second time, it's sound echoing through the broken city like the bell of death and green eyes did narrow as he observed his prey. A pelt of white which was bloodstained, eyes of Jade, around half the power of the strongest wolves. he blieved he may have it in him to catch the brute as his own skill was towards the top of the range, not quite level with those of the elders or top trainers, but not far off.
Then eyes widened and a sly grin did cross his face. There was only one way to know. "Scared? You wish." And with that his wish was in motion, his faithful whip clasped tighter in his hand. "Plus, the cat's out of the bag, demon. He moved quickly, the nine-thonged leather weapon, ended in sharp barbs, moving to slash his enemy. If this attack didn't work, the demon would have to learn the hard way.
((OOC: The cat was the whip of the pirates and, in pirate law, once it was out the punishment had to be dealt))

//Its not very big though, and twelve lashings wouldn't even scar. You might want to add a more killer weapon. Its several severe lashings that would kill....
I was looking it up and found a word called KeelHaul meaning-- Punishment by dragging under the ship, from one side to the other. The victim of a keelhauling would be half-drowned, or worse, and lacerated by the barnacles that grew beneath the ship. Cat o'nine tails (or cat) - a whip with nine lashes used for flogging. "A taste of the cat" might refer to a full flogging, or just a single blow to "smarten up" a recalcitrant hand. //
Blitz growled as he took the lashing, feeling the barbs clash into his pelt and rip away. He growled again and leaped forward, the man better have a different weapon or he was doomed. Flames lashed out and surrounded the leather, burning it but not catching aflame.
//not much to go off of sorry. //

So this demon wanted to play hard? Fine- then he'd play hard to. He had enough weapons to fight hard and long, no matter how much damage one came to there were plenty to turn to. So he'd just have to change weapon. Plus, he still had his power should he need it.
"You want to play tough? Then so be it." With that he grabbed another weapon, hoping this one tould be more sucessful. A long whip of metal links caught in the flames the demon fired to make it red hot, a burning whip which could cause devistation.
Without warning he attacked with a quick movement of his wrist, the long whip flinging through the airto hopefully make a lasting mark on this big-headed brute. Then his mind cleared and he was going to use his power of mind control. He was stronger, more skilled and this demon would bend to his will.

Blitz choked back a yelp as the metal whip lashed him, wrapping around his neck and casting him to the side as if he were a rag doll. Blitz coughed as air rushed out of his lungs from hitting the side of a building rather hard. Blitz shook his head and angrily stepped forward, grabbing the whip in between his jaws and yet again forcing fire up along the metal... But this time it was faster and was being sent to ward's the person himself.
Angrily Blitz Streak tore the whip away and released another low growl of warning. This trainer had just crossed the line and pissed off a demon. Blitz fur errupted into flames, enveloping himself in the hot red and cool black flames. His eyes swirled from jade to red and black, anger streaking his face as he moved forward. a 'flaming fur ball'. He groaned softly as the burn around his neck stung but it was something he could handle until the damn idiot was taken down.

Everything was going well- the demon had, at least, recieved injury and having ridded himself of the burning weapon having recieved a sharp burn himself he took another out, though it is not worth describing for it was not to be used just yet. This trainer had other plans which took more than a weapon but a strong mind. His skill would come to play with this devilish demon. He reached his mind out towards the demon and, when their minds touched he pressed on- he was stronger and he would make it through, no matter what it took. He would bend this demon against it's own will using it's mind- making it do what he says even though he does not wish to and, it this case, it meant surrendering to the greater opposition.

Blitz growled angrily, throwing up diamond hard walls to block out this damned menace. His eyes took on a glaring look as they became glazed with concentration. The pounding of one's mind against his own was begining to hurt like hell, but then again he came from hell so it wasn't much of a difference.
Blitz growled and leaped forward, a flaming furball airborn, and heading straight for the trainer at a galloping pace.
